So, I think I’ve found my new favorite makeup website. Glambot is a super cool company with nothing like it on the internet (as far as I know). Glambot is basically a consignment store, but instead of clothes, you can find gently-used makeup and skincare for amazingly discounted prices! When I first heard of the concept, I was a little skeptical. Used makeup just didn’t sound safe. But do not fear! Glambot uses a five-step sanitization process that ensures all of their products are 100% sanitary and safe to use! Also, with each product, it lists the condition and the amount of product left so you know exactly what to expect with the makeup you’re buying. And there are plenty of makeup on this site that has never even been used!
I picked out three items from Glambot and I was super impressed with all three. All of the makeup came sealed with a Glambot sticker and when I opened them, each of the products looked pristine and clean! The top layers had been scraped off so they looked brand new!
First, I chose the Marc Jacobs New Nudes Sheer Gel Lipstick in the shade #108 Have We Met? I have been wanting to try some Marc Jacobs lipsticks for quite some time now, so I was super excited to find this pretty shimmery pink colour! This lipstick only cost $22 on Glambot, far from it’s original value of $38.
Next, I chose the Colourpop Lippie Stix in the shade Thirsty. I have been a huge fan of Colourpop ever since they sent me their eyeshadows a couple years ago. However, I haven’t been able to try their products since because their international shipping fees are outrageous! Glambot solved that solution perfectly! I can just order Colourpop items off of Glambot for a discounted price AND at a low shipping price of $5! That’s another reason why I love Glambot so much- I can buy American makeup that I wouldn’t be able to get here in Canada!
Lastly, I got the Youngblood Pressed Mineral Blush in the shade Temptress. I found this blush on the clearance section of Glambot for only $10! But the best part, it had never been used! It was completely brand new! This blush is so pretty, it’s a deep berry colour with gold shimmer in it. I’m so excited to wear it in the fall and winter months as a deep pop of colour on my cheeks!
Another really great thing about Glambot is that you can find limited edition and discontinued products on their site! It’s a super cool place to check for makeup that you can’t find anywhere else with a guarantee that it will be in good condition and sanitized! Oh!
